Curriculum Development for Fab Lab - The TASIS School in Dorado
In addition to working with the design and supervising construction of the space, we have developed a curriculum and taught multiple courses and workshops to students of all ages in the Fab Lab.
Courses developed are mainly aimed at Middle School and High School students and cover topics such as 3d printing, laser cutting and CNC milling. Some of the courses developed are Research and Engineering, Intro to Fab Lab, Architecture and Design.
These courses not only familiarize students with digital fabrication technologies that are new to them, but also allows them to go through the Engineering Design Process and design their own solutions to problems which they can later put to the test.
