Making Space: Center for Design and Fabrication of Hato Rey

“Making Space” proposes a fabrication and workspace open to the public for the development of all kinds of projects. As a space that envisions to foster innovation, the project provides the user with all the necessary tools for the development of his or her project.

The manner in which the design is developed allows for the program and content of the building to become part of its own construction process. Facade elements proposed are to be fabricated inside the building facilities opening up endless design and variability possibilities.
